Grupo Iowa History

Since its inception in 2002, Brazil Iowa Farms has dedicated itself to becoming a premier agricultural production company in South America.  Brazil Iowa Farms began as a pioneer, creating the first such equity venture of its kind investing in production agriculture in Brazil.  It was created to provide U.S. agricultural producers a venue to participate in the growing agricultural climate that exists in the current economic model in Brazil.

The first Brazil land acquisition took place in 2004.  Since then, Brazil Iowa Farms has continued to expand its presence in the western region of Bahia and has set plans to continue to add scale to its operations.  With production on over 22,400 acres for 2007, Brazil Iowa Farms aims to become one of the most premier professional agricultural operations in the industry.
