Production Unit

Crop production embodies our main operational activity requiring heavy investment in the improvement of our natural soils.  Soil correction as well as a professional and committed management team will be the principal focus to achieve our goals.  We use state of the art production knowledge to maximize yield gains through both conventional and no-till crop rotation strategies.  Our three crops currently include cotton, soybeans and corn.

Through technology and research, Grupo Iowa provides on site testing for seed and chemical companies such as Syngenta and Pioneer as well as the Brazilian Research Institution, Embrapa.  This research is designed to maximize planting potential through chemical and fertility efficiency as well as reducing operational costs and minimizing the impact on the soil environment.

Our management team relies on some of the most up to date and advanced equipment available today.  Much of the equipment is guided by GPS technology including our spray plane, powered by alcohol.
